Timeline

1988
Incorporation
David Parratt (Managing Director) founds Freshopen Limited (t/a Executive Windows) in November 1988 after becoming a qualified bricklayer and having worked for a local window company for a number of years.

1989
Jason Green Joins
Jason Green (now Sales Director) joins the Executive Windows Team after applying for an advert in the local newspaper. Jason, only having qualified in painting & decorating, impresses the company by picking up window & door installation extremely quickly. Only a few installations under David’s supervision later, and Jason is fitting by himself.

1989
Petersfield Showroom
Having grown a decent reputation in Petersfield, the decision is made to open up a small showroom on Lavant Street, Petersfield- a few steps away from the train station. It allows Executive Windows to establish a base of operations; an office; and a place to showcase the latest products available.

1990
Conservatories & Orangries
Being a bricklayer by trade, David Parratt has completed a few Conservatories & Orangeries since starting Executive Windows in 1988. However, after the success of the Petersfield showroom, it was now time to officially become Executive Windows & Conservatories.

1992
Composite Doors
Executive Windows officially introduces the Composite Door, acting as a perfect alternative to a timber front door. At this point there was only 7 door styles and 7 colours available (White, Black, Golden Oak, Rosewood, Red, Green & Blue).

1993
Farlington Factory & Showroom
Wanting finer control of the PVCu Windows & Doors Executive Windows & Conservatories were installing, David Parratt invests in a factory on Fitzherbert Road, Farlington complete with all the machinery necessary to manufacture insulating glass units (IGUs) and fabricate quality PVCu Windows & Doors using the Diplomat Profiles system.
Due to the large floor area of the unit purchased, there was also enough space to construct a second showroom. This showroom was more than twice the size of the Petersfield showroom and allowed for larger samples to be showcased such as: Bi-Folding and Sliding Patio Doors.

2001
Further Responsibility
During one of Executive Windows & Conservatories’ largest projects (a Commercial Renovation of Bar Bluu in Southsea, Portsmouth), David Parratt offered Jason Green the opportunity to take further responsibility of the workings of the company.
Having proved himself as a competent Head Fitter at Executive Windows & Conservatories, Jason Green went to his first homeowner appointment in September 2001. Quickly, Jason became more hands-on with the sales, logistics and operational side of the business.

2002
FENSA Registered Company
In April 2002, the UK government authorised the creation of FENSA (Fenestration Self-Assessment Scheme). The first and most well-known Competent Person Scheme for the window and door installation industry in England and Wales. Executive Windows & Conservatories are one of the first members.

2003
Ultraframe Ultra Installer
Ultraframe introduces an Official Installer scheme (named Ultra Installers) which thoroughly vet and certify independent installers of their products to give homeowners peace of mind when planning their next conservatory or orangery project. Executive Windows & Conservatories proved themselves and become an Official Ultra Installer.

2004
BS EN 1279 Accreditation
A multi-part European standard for insulating glass units (IGUs) is published. Executive Windows & Conservatories, having been manufacturing IGUs since 1993, apply for the necessary testing and receive all certification to prove the high quality and standard of the sealed units being manufactured in-house.

2013
Promotion to Director
Having began his journey with Executive Windows & Conservatories in 1989, the dedication and hard work to build his way up the company is officially recognised. 24 years after he started, Jason Green is appointed as Sales Director of Freshopen Limited (t/a Executive Windows & Conservatories) in April 2013.

2014
HomePro IBG
To give homeowners further peace of mind, Executive Windows & Conservatories work alongside HomePro to offer customers an independent, third-party insurance-backed guarantee (IBG).

2019
Construction Division Formed
In the midst of COVID-19, Executive Windows & Conservatories show their resilience by introducing the Construction Division of the company. Officially recognising more specialist projects such as: Extensions, Cladding, Rendering, Insulation Works & Flat Roofing.

2021
Relocation to Waterlooville
Where many companies in the same industry have pulled the plug in the aftermath of COVID and Brexit, Executive Windows & Construction take the brave step and refines its operations into a single location: a brand-new industrial unit in Houghton Avenue, Waterlooville.

2024
Commercial Division Formed
Although Executive Windows & Construction have been completing Commercial Projects for decades now, 2024 marks the year it is officially recognised by the business as a sector the company specialises in. Within the same year, Executive Windows & Construction become Official Hampshire County Installers and complete a full Commercial Installation (100+ Windows and 20+ Doors) at St. Jude’s Catholic Primary School, Fareham within the timeframe of the school holidays .

2025

Recognising the potential and quality of the Ultraframe hup! System, the company pivots the traditional construction division of the business towards the new technology. Offering homeowners more cost-effective and more energy-efficient conservatories, orangeries, extensions, porches & garden rooms.

2025
Roseview Official Installer
Having been installing the Rose Collection Windows for over 15 years, when Roseview Windows introduced the Official Installer Scheme in 2025, Executive Windows & Construction were one of the first companies to be approached and approved as Official Installers of the Rose Collection.

2026
Looking Forward (& Back)..
It’s impossible to know what the future will hold, but, after being established for almost 40 years and overcoming the aftereffects of a plethora of national & international crisis’, it is safe to assume Executive Windows & Construction will be around for your next Home Improvement or Commercial Project for years and years to come.
Despite how much the company has evolved since 1988, some things have never changed:
- We are still The Same Limited Company Established in 1988.
- We are still Privately Owned with No Third-Parties to Appease.
- We are still Under the Same Management as in 1988.
- We are still Offering Tried-and-Tested Quality Products.
- We are still Complete Professional & Quality Installations.
